A lot of this business has moved to call centers and national chains. We never went that way. Our showroom is on Lee Highway, and when you call, you reach someone who can actually answer your question. The people who measure and install your treatments are our own team.

01What does the consultation cost?+
It's free. We come out, take the measurements, look at fabrics and options with you, and leave you a written quote. There's never any obligation or pressure.
02How fast can treatments be installed?+
Depends on what you order. Most Hunter Douglas products come in within a few weeks. Custom drapery and shutters take longer because they're made to order. You'll have a clear timeline in writing before you order anything, and our own in-house team handles the installation.
03Is everything Hunter Douglas?+
The shades, blinds, shutters, and PowerView® motorization are. Drapery, Roman shades, valances, and other soft treatments are made to order from your fabric selections, to the exact measurements we take in your home.
04What about warranties and repairs?+
Warranty varies by product; your design consultant will go over what’s covered before you order. And if something breaks years down the road, bring it into the showroom before you replace it: many shades can be restrung or re-celled rather than replaced.
05How far do you travel?+
We cover Fairfax and Loudoun Counties and most of Northern Virginia, plus Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland. If you're just outside that area, please call; we can often accommodate you.
